Nurse Verification & Marketplace Standards
NurseLink’s trust system is intended to explain verified information, not label one nurse as inherently “better” than another.
1. Verification tiers
Bronze, Silver and Gold are intended to summarize the depth of completed checks. The underlying checks should remain visible. A new nurse account starts as Unverified.
2. Credential review
NurseLink may review identity, nursing credentials, education, employment history, references, skill claims and expiry dates. Verification is time-specific and may need renewal.
3. Reliability indicators
Completed shifts, punctuality, documentation, cancellations and repeat-client history may be shown as distinct platform signals. Reliability data should be fact-based and provide a way to correct or contest material errors.
4. Ratings and feedback
Reviews should relate to genuine engagements. Harassment, retaliation, discrimination, manipulation and false reviews are prohibited. NurseLink may moderate feedback that breaches platform rules while preserving legitimate criticism.
5. SLA/check-in exceptions
Scheduled care logs support accountability, but clinical emergencies, connectivity failures or other legitimate circumstances may interrupt documentation. Missed logs should be flagged for review and context rather than treated as automatic proof of poor care.
6. Suspension
Accounts may be restricted during credential, safety, fraud or serious conduct investigations. Significant actions should be documented and provide an appropriate review or appeal path.
7. Scope-of-practice responsibility
Nurses must only accept work and perform tasks within their lawful qualifications, competence and professional scope. A platform match or client request does not expand a nurse’s lawful scope of practice.
